Interested in all things AI? The NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) is coming to Silicon Valley March 18-21. GTC is sure to be an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the top experts in artificial intelligence.
This year, FaceFirst CEO Peter Trepp and VP of Product Management Roger Angarita will be giving a presentation at GTC revealing how GPU-enabled facial recognition can radically enhance customer experiences.
Here are the details:
Session Title: How GPU-Enabled Face Recognition Will Enhance the Consumer Experience
Face recognition is widely deployed in retail stores to help prevent rising shoplifting and return fraud, which is a $30B problem in the United States alone. The next step for retailers is even more exciting: leveraging face recognition to transform the consumer experience. While some retailers experimented with in-store engagement using some combination of mobile mac addresses, beacon technology and mobile apps, the effort has largely died due to technical hurdles and low engagement. But face recognition – in tandem with AI-powered text chat bots, powered by GPUs – is poised to drive real-time, contextually relevant engagement in ways never previously imagined. This session will include a presentation as well as a panel discussion and Q&A.
