The Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) has consistently been at the forefront of research on how retailers can prevent shoplifting, fraud and organized retail crime.  

FaceFirst is once again proud to be a sponsor of LPRC IMPACT, a conference focused on helping retailers better leverage research and technology to prevent crime and retail violence. We’ve collaborated with LPRC on loss prevention research, and they provide an incredibly valuable service to the industry.  

Our Retail Director, Mark Ebersbach, will be presenting a case study with one of our customers. Our customer, one of the nation’s largest grocery chains, will discuss how face recognition helped reduce external shrink, self-checkout fraud and in-store violence.
